Three St. John Excessive College college students positioned within the annual Plaquemine Backyard Membership Excessive College Essay Contest. The theme was: “Adapting Our Actions to Shield Our Pure Habitats.”
Junior Colton Canella, son of Troy and Tara Canella, gained first place. Junior Isabella LoBue, daughter of Jared and Gina LoBue, gained second. Sophomore Chloe Markins, daughter of Hutch and Christie Markins, gained honorable point out.

Pleasure, Hardy earn Eagle rank
Herman Pleasure III and Bradley Hardy have earned the rank of Eagle, the best achievement attainable in American Boy Scouting.
They obtained their Eagle medals and had been honored for his or her achievements at an Eagle Courtroom of Honor on Dec. 21. Pleasure is an honor scholar at Baton Rouge Magnet Excessive College, and Hardy is an honor scholar at Madison Preparatory Academy. Each belong to Troop 426 sponsored by Wesley United Methodist Church, beneath the course of Scoutmaster Elbert Hill.
