Dunedin style, like its sound, has at all times been
distinct, and on Saturday 27 March 2021 an exhibition is
opening to have fun it. From icons in New Zealand style
to new international gamers in cool, from the internationally
recognized iD Trend Awards to the huge textile assortment of

Gathered
from iD Rising Designer finalists from the final 16 years
and clothes from world wide, this style is brazen,
stylish and defiant. Items are grouped with chosen objects
from Otago Museum’s assortment that spans centuries. “I
am so enthusiastic about this, I feel it is going to be a fashionistas
dream”, stated iD Rising Design Awards founder Margo
Barton, “This can draw prime designers, trendy folks who
love to decorate individually, creatives and makers from round
the nation, it will be inspiring.”
The
exhibition has been designed in-house, with a swathe of
native and worldwide collaborators. “It has been such
an honour to work with so many proficient style designers,
with the ability to convey their clothes to life in such an
participating context” says Craig Scott, Head of Exhibitions
