LANSING, Mich. – The Michigan Division of Well being and Human Companies (MDHHS) mentioned it’s shifting ahead with providing a voluntary COVID-19 testing program to educators.
Officers mentioned the MI Protected Colleges Testing Program, which started Tuesday, will present weekly exams for educators at non-public and public colleges. Roughly 300 colleges and 9,000 employees members have signed up for testing thus far.
MDHHS will present testing provides for gratis to colleges.
This system comes after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer pushed for schools to resume in-person learning by March 1.
