YOUNGSTOWN — Academics and directors at McGuffey Elementary College are “Portray the City McGuffey” to acknowledge students’ educational and attendance achievements.
McGuffey workers picked up indicators and have posted them within the yards of scholars who made the varsity’s honor roll and people who achieved excessive attendance.
“We needed to ‘Paint the City McGuffey’ as a result of we would like our students to know that we’re happy with them even at a distance and that we have a good time their achievements,” Eboni Williams, McGuffey’s fifth- by means of eighth-grade principal, stated. “We additionally need the group to know the superior students we now have right here at McGuffey.”
Greater than 300 indicators are being positioned in college students’ yards all throughout town, Audrey Foreback, McGuffey’s dean of scholars for grades 5 by means of eight, stated.
Aaron Bouie, McGuffey’s pre-kindergarten by means of fourth-grade principal, stated the popularity not solely rewards college students for his or her achievements but additionally strengthens the connection between college workers and students and their households.
