BCCI President and former India skipper Sourav Ganguly will bear a stenting process on Thursday. Kolkata’s Woodland Hospital launched an announcement on this regard on Wednesday and said that the stenting shall be completed by Dr. Aftab Khan.
“He had chest discomfort as we speak and he’s taken to Apollo as we speak. Dr. Saptarshi Basu and Dr. Saroj Mondal are attending. Dr. Aftab Khan will do the stenting tomorrow in presence of Dr. Devi Shetty,” the assertion learn.
Earlier on Wednesday, the BCCI President was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata after complaints of chest ache. An official assertion was launched by the Apollo Hospital, which said that the previous cricketer visited the hospital for a checkup of his cardiac situation.
“Sourav Ganguly, 48 years outdated, male has come for a checkup of his cardiac situation. There isn’t any change in his parameters since his final hospitalisation and his very important parameters are steady,” the assertion learn.
That is the second time this month that the BCCI president was admitted to a hospital.
Earlier this month, the previous cricketer was admitted to Kolkata’s Woodlands Hospital after he suffered a gentle coronary heart assault, following which he underwent an angioplasty. The BCCI President was then recognized with three blocked coronary arteries. A stent was additionally inserted in a single to take away the blockage. He was later discharged from the hospital on January 7.
