Amid freezing temperatures and energy outages, town of Southlake has opened an emergency momentary warming middle on the DPS North Coaching Facility.

“Residents whose energy has been out for awhile can make the most of this momentary emergency choice to get a break from the chilly,” town’s web site says.

The DPS North Coaching Facility is situated at 100 E. Dove Street. COVID-19 protocols will likely be adopted, and pets usually are not allowed. Residents are inspired to convey snacks and water, and there will likely be restricted entry to cost telephones.
